5 Reasons you need a Jump Rope will totally change the way you view exercise. This will definitely not be what you expect. You need a jump rope so go ahead and get one.
1. Body Transformation
There are so many things I could say but for the sake of transparency and brevity, here goes. 5 Reasons you need a jump rope are detailed below.
A Jump Rope will transform your body extremely quickly. I started consistently jumping rope almost 3 weeks ago and my body will never be the same. I accepted a challenge from a friend and have been jumping minimum 200 jumps per day.
2. Tiniest Gym You will ever own
It is the tiniest gym you will ever own. If you are low on space and do not care to go to the gym then this will be a fit for you. Literally I just find a spot where the rope will not be hindered and I can get a full body workout done in 15 minutes. It is one of the best self care things you can do for yourself.
3. You will have fun
If you have never done this before or not since you were a child, prepare to be amazed. The first day I thought to myself why did I even attempt this. By day 4 I was feeling a shift in the balance and energy in my body. What am I saying? Your body will thank you for this type of movement. I was actually enjoying myself because it did not take a long workout and I felt rejuvenated.
4. Charting your progress helps
I started this journey on March 28, 2020 and did not expect my body to change this way. Make sure you document when you start and pay close attention. Yes I have changed my eating habits but not nearly enough to see the type of changes I have seen with the addition of the jump rope challenge.
Make sure you acquire an accountability partner. I have found that each goal in my life that I have someone following up with me about, I push harder for. Like I said the first week was the hardest. But, because I had someone cheering me on and expecting updates, I pushed harder.
No matter how hard it gets do not underestimate yourself. Start at the beginning. I am here to cheer you on. Leave a comment below and follow me on Instagram to watch my journey. Remember, life is either simply awful or awfully simple, you choose. See you next time.
